JUMPER JUDGE - WEEK 1 AND 2
In respect to judging, Cathy Harper is a leading expert in the world of show jumping. She has officiated many times at the North American Championships for Junior and Young Riders and the Nations Cup CSI5* in Wellington, Florida. She was a Ground Jury member and foreign judge at the American Olympic tryouts and has also judged the qualifying tests for the World Cup three times in Las Vegas, eight times in California and twenty times at the Bromont International horse shows. Cathy has led and participated in numerous trainings at the national and international levels and she won the Aramis Trophy in 2014 in the "Official of International Level" category.
JUMPER JUDGE - WEEK 1 and 2
Marie-Hélène discovered english riding 20 years ago and immediately fell in love with the sport. Over the years she has owned several horses that have distinguished themselves in competition. During her years of certifications, she followed Pierre Rainville on the Chaudière-Appalaches Regional Tour and worked extensively with Cathy Harper in Blainville, in Ottawa and several years in Bromont where she also had the pleasure of working with Philip Rozon. Marie-Hélène received her Senior Jumping Judge certification in 2017.
HUNTER JUDGE - WEEK 1
In addition to the Royal Horse Show, Christine organize and manage several quality, centrally-located provincial competitions. She also hold a senior officials card for the Equitation, Hunter and Jumper divisions with Equestrian Canada.
Previous to The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, she enjoyed a fulsome career as a professional horseman and equestrian coach, qualifying students for national championships in several divisions.
HUNTER JUDGE - WEEK 1 AND 2
Member of the long list for show jumping Canada from 2003-2006, Vanessa Paschini competed among the best riders in the world, ranking as well as Olympic riders during qualifications tests for the World Cup and Grand-Prix. In 2008, she obtained Equine Canada accreditation as a hunter and equitation judge. In 2016, she obtained the status of senior judge in Canada and Judge R in the United States. She judges an average of ten competitions during the summer season.
HUNTER JUDGE - WEEK 2
Ann Hodgson is a long time Equestrian Canada licensed judge for Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation, as well as an Equestrian Canada certified High Performance Coach.
Besides judging, she has been active in the sport as a rider, trainer and coach for over 35 years, consistently producing horses and riders to multiple championships.
Based in St Lazare, QC she and her husband Brian have for many years owned and operated Hodgson Stables Ltd., a successful boarding and training facility that is well known and respected in the horse community.
STEWARD - WEEK 1 AND 2
Involved in coaching since the middle of the 70’s, Patricia's career as international official begins in 2009. She then obtained the status of FEI level 2 steward. This qualification brings her to participate at the World equestrian games in Kentucky in 2010 and to act as general steward at the London Olympics in 2012. She also presided in 2015 the Pan-American games of Toronto. Patricia is also a member of the prestigious International Jumping Club, an international organization for exchanges and training. In 2017, Patricia Chalmers received the trophy Aramis in the category Official of International level.

STEWARD - WEEK 2
Senior Steward certified by Equestrian Canada, Jean sees his role as ensuring that the competition runs smoothly, doing safety prevention and acting as a representative of Equestrian Canada .
He trained with Patricia Chalmers (FEI-3) in the 2015 season and he deepened his knowledge with Jan Stephens (FEI-3) accompanied by Anne Welch, Frances McAvity and Sue Hawes in 2016. Most recently, he attended a clinic with Shirley Pederson (FEI-2) in Ottawa.Since then, he has travelled to several regions of Quebec as an official. Jean hopes that this event will be a constructive and educational experience for all of you and your horses.

COURSE DESIGNER - WEEK 1 AND 2
Jedd Smith grew up on a 360 acres farm in northern Ontario where is mother was a certified level 3 equestrian coach and his late father was an FEI Level 3 Course Designer. He started designing schooling shows when he was 18 and decided to get his Recorded status at 21. Gaining experience at the trillium level first, Jedd was presented with the opportunity to assist at venues such as Caledon Equestrian Park and Spruce Meadows. By 24 he obtained his senior status and started designing at the A circuit level. Since then, he’s had the pleasure of working at many top facilities across Canada.

Shane Wooley has been in the equine industry for over 30 years. He currently owns and operates a hunter/jumper stable with his wife, Michelle Matthews.
Shane decided to expand his expertise in the industry, pursuing his passion in course designing. He looks forward to continuing his education as he continues to actualize his aspirations.
